Hello, Col. Conlin;
Michael Hagle here from Charlie Co. 1/3, if you remember me. I like your articles. I wish I served with you again during the Iraqi invasion. Hope all is well for you. Semper Fi!

Sir,
Hope you are doing well and life is good for you. I was thinking about you the other day and thought I would look you up and see what I could find. Great article and from what I have seen things have been great. It was a honor to serve with you and being a corpsman with the 1ST Team during the lead up to the invasion and up to coming home. I was an HM2 during this time frame. I retired out of the Navy as a Chief. Doc Floyd-
Doc,
Thanks for reaching out! Congratulations on your retirement. I did the same in 2011. Sorry for the late reply. Still getting used to this webpage stuff! Just posted a Birthday message I gave last week, telling our story about the March Up. Hope you enjoy it! We would never have made it without Devil Docs like you.
Semper fi and happy 250th!

Good afternoon Col. Conlin. My name is Christopher Rennick. I had the honor of serving under you in Suicide Charley 1st Platoon. My Squad leader at the time was Corp. Cory Stephens. You and Sgt Maj Bergeron crossed my mind today when watching a Gen. Mattis speech. I’m happy to see you were able to find more things in life after retirement. I currently live full time in Oaxaca Mx. If you ever fill up to, look me up. Mi casa es tu casa.

Thanks for reaching out, Chris. And a very happy 250th Birthday, Marine! I actually had a chance to celebrate with Gen Mattis last week at the Marine Memorial Club Birthday Ball in San Francisco. He is still looking good and tough as nails. I also posted a video from another Birthday ceremony here in Sacramento, where I had a chance to tell First Team’s story from the March Up. Hope you enjoy it. You and Suicide Charley were at the lead for much of that campaign. Hope Mexico is treating you well! Can never thank you enough for all you did for our Corps and First Team. Take care, stay safe, and Semper fi,
Chris
